Waterparks In And Around Pattaya
As Pattaya becomes a more family-oriented destination, entertainment options aimed at parents and children continue to expand. One of the most popular choices for family fun is a visit to one of the excellent waterparks located in and around Pattaya. While the beaches are enjoyable, they don’t match the thrill of high-speed slides and wave pools. Waterparks also offer the added safety of trained lifeguards, giving families peace of mind.
Pattaya Park
Pattaya Park is the oldest of the waterparks in the area, but its convenient location and classic appeal keep it popular with locals and tourists alike. More than just a waterpark, it’s also an amusement park and home to the famous Pattaya Tower — a 240-metre high structure featuring three revolving restaurants and even a zipline to the ground.
The waterpark itself includes a range of slides, flumes, a lazy river, and several pools suitable for younger children. While it may not have the latest thrill rides, it’s still a fun and accessible option for a family day out.
Location: Thappraya Soi 12, near the beach
Cartoon Network Amazone
Located south of Na Jomtien on Sukhumvit Road towards Sattahip, Cartoon Network Amazone is a modern, well-designed waterpark offering 30+ attractions across a large, spacious site. The park is themed around popular Cartoon Network characters who interact with children throughout the day.
A unique feature is the separation of attractions for younger kids and those for teens and adults. Children will love the Cartoonival area with 150+ slides, fountains, and splash toys. Older visitors enjoy the Surfarena (Flowrider) and the Mega Wave pool.
The Foodville area offers a wide range of dining options, and the park hosts entertaining shows in the evening featuring acrobatics and light displays.
Opening Hours: Daily 10 AM – 6 PM
Entry Fees: THB 1,800 (foreigners), THB 1,200 (Thai citizens/ID holders)
Ramayana Water Park
Ramayana is Southeast Asia’s largest waterpark, covering 184,000 square metres. Located near Silverlake Vineyard and Buddha Hill, the park is a 30-minute drive from Pattaya and is easily accessed from Nong Nooch Gardens.
Opened in 2016, Ramayana is the most modern of the local waterparks and features state-of-the-art slides, shaded pools, and water sourced from its own wells with chemical-free filtration. It caters to all ages, from toddlers to adults.
Children will love the interactive spray toys, while older guests can enjoy the double Flowrider and a variety of thrilling flumes. For relaxation, the park offers a scenic lazy river, private hilltop cabanas, and multiple bars and restaurants.
